Developed from hand rubbings collected across Liverpool, York, London, and Manchester, Iron Damask showcases the unexpected beauty of manhole covers and urban infrastructure. Inspired also by a group exhibition at the historic Manchester Library, the pattern transforms functional surfaces into a structured, decorative motif—bridging industry and elegance.
