This collection has a strong sense of traditional shapes, neutral and calming tones, and an occasional burst of color, which is a continuous theme throughout Merenda’s designs.
Tilt is a modernized vintage chevron meant to harmonize a room by its rhythmic pattern.

Halo was created from a rubbing done on a vintage glass window. The glass was originally spotted and photographed while Merenda was visiting the Museo de la Revolución in Havana, Cuba. When rediscovered in Baja, Mexico, Merenda was filled with joy to be able to capture it in this dimensional rubbing.

Cleo was inspired by a pattern plastered to a friend’s bedroom in Baltimore in the early 2000s (who later became a DJ). Merenda created a kindred version with subtle colorways to be less dramatic, while still remaining impactful. Using traditional checks that change scale with subtle imperfections creates tonal movement on your walls.
